A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

You are a little rat trapped in a maze with no exits. The nasty laboratory assistant who has locked you in for his animal testing has put 6 lasers in nooks of the maze. Each laser has its own characteristic sound, that you will hear when you enter the laser surrounding area. The laboratory assistant will play one laser sound at the beginning of the game for you. It’s your first mission to find the laser sounding alike and going trough it. When you made it, the lab assistant wants to know exactly how clever a little rat could be: So he plays TWO laser sounds. After listening, you have to find these two lasers in the right order. This goes up to five lasers until the lab assistant knows how clever you are.

Once per game you can press [H] to get a hint: The laser sounds for your current mission will be played again.

If you go trough a wrong laser, a red light will blind you and you'll restart with your current mission and a new laser sound constellation.

Here is a tip to find one of the Easter Eggs: it can be triggered with the most popular Cheat Code in Game History.

Movement: [W][A][S][D] or arrow keys

Don't forget to turn your sound on!

I really like this small game, even though it's not fully developed yet.

A break button would be useful. And a timer to get the time per laser and some highscore. And more levels.

But already the first level will take you some time, don't worry.

I also like the design and the music, for hobby-developers defenitely a great performance.

Thanks!!! We wanted to make a pause-menu with continue and break options, but the time was running out...

Including a highscore is also a good idea. Tanks for playing our game and giving feedback! I hope you enjoyed to play it!

It was a fun game, even thought, it destroyed my cheat engine...

So I can recommend it, for playing, when you just have some spare time

Thanks for testing our game. I hope you enjoyed it :)

PS: If you would have used your brain instead of your cheat engine, you would have lost that much of your spare time. But I'm glad to hear, that you hadn't been able to cheat you trouth the mission :)

Have a good day (one of the four developers)

As another co-developer of the game:

At any time you can view the project at GWJ20-GodotCommunityDE and change the source locally so no need to use any cheat engine.

As always the game is made with Godot so it would be easy to mod it (or better: improve it).

If you have any questions to the content, feel free to ask. Might add some additional content when the jam is over.

I actually have GoDot, and I'm trying to learn bit programming in GoDot (actually also, that I get a better understanding of Games, to crack them more easy), but in fact, GoDot is much harder to Crack, than other Game Engines like Unity or Unreal (or at least, as long as you use the native GoDot code), because no decompiler knows the language.

And I also got one thing to add. Keep programming. It's a nice hobby and you did already great work. For one week (when I'm not completely wrong) I think it is great.
